Toddlers

The Toddler Program is designed to promote your child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.  Because each child's development is uniquely individual, organizing a wide variety of activities geared toward all of the children is important.  Games like peek-a-boo, hide the toy, puzzles and building with blocks encourage problem solving and eye-hand coordination.  Singing and dancing encourages love of music and movement, as do rhythm activities and making music.  Coloring with finger paints and crayons develop fine motor skills, color recognition and creativity.  Tumbling, running, climbing and playing with push or riding toys develops coordination and gross motor skills.

We provide a wide variety of stimuli that are geared appropriately towards your child's age and level of growth.  We work closely with each parent and individual child to encourage the natural bonding process that is necessary for a Toddler's successful growth.  Some of our activities include outdoor walks, music, movement, stories, Spanish, Sign Language, and activities with bright colors and shapes, and of course - lots of cuddling.

We provide ongoing assessments of a child's learning and development and communicate the child's progress to the family at conferences held throughout the year.

These are just a few of the many activities this program offers.  Above all, the children are loved and cared for in an enriched environment that enables them to explore and develop into the unique individuals that they are.  These children are ages 21 months to three years.
